Relocation
Relocating to a new country can be a big ordeal and we understand that at Health Staffing. To help with this transition we offer an array of services to new employees.
Temporary Residence
Health Staffing will provide temporary residence in a beautiful suite located near our offices. This will give you a place to live while you look for your own permanent residence.
We will also assist you with your basic transportation needs during this time.
Expenses
Relocation assistance up to C$5000 will be provided to cover the expenses of moving yourself and any applicable family members from outside of British Columbia.
The relocation assistance is a forgivable loan that will be paid back to Health Staffing International (on a pro-rated basis) should you terminate your employment before the end of one year, or not fulfill your obligations as outlined in your offer letter and employment contract.
The following are approved expenses:
- Moving of household goods by a professional mover.
- Air travel for you and immediate family members who will be relocating to Vancouver with you (note: only one-way air travel is covered).
- Cost of immigration medical examination.
- Canadian High Commission - Employment Authorization for the employee (Work Permit).
- Cost of qualifying/upgrading course(s) required for you to obtain CRNBC eligibility (note that processing and registration fees are not covered). *Subject to offer of employment.
- Cost of Emergency medical coverage during first three months of employment (can be purchased upon arrival in Vancouver).
At the conclusion of your move please log and submit all of your receipts to our offices. We will not cover any expense that is not accounted for by a receipt.
